Mission Statement

Team IgKnighted seeks to cultivate a large range of skills and qualities, including an interest in STEM, critical thinking, innovation, and gracious professionalism by providing real-world experience in STEM through intense robotics competitions, while promoting teamwork and creating an impact on our community.

Igknighted was created with a clear mission in mind: ignite students' passion for STEM. The knights of ACP are also scientists and engineers, having proved time and time again that they wanted to take their interest in STEM to the next level. Enter IgKnighted. By introducing FIRST to the ACP community, we will pave the way for success in STEM. The competitive, extensive nature of FIRST fills a void in the community, ushering in opportunities for students to develop their skills in not just robotics - but also physics, mathematics, communications, teamwork, leadership, and business. It isn’t just themselves they are developing either. IgKnighted facilitates community service by providing a platform for students to educate and demonstrate STEM. With IgKnighted, ACP students won’t have to keep dreaming about STEM, because now they can make their dreams a reality.

Team Sustainability Award

The Team Sustainability Award “celebrates and recognizes a team which has developed sustainable practices to have a positive environmental impact and achieve long-term continuity.” Our team was awarded the Team Sustainability Award at the Arizona Valley Regional in March of 2024.
